The filter pump (also widely recognized as a chemical transfer pump or heavy-duty process pump) is a close-coupled, highly efficient fluid handling unit engineered with exceptional self-priming capability and robust dry-running resistance. This corrosion-resistant self-priming pump is universally deployed across the electroplating, microelectronics, chemical manufacturing, tanning, textile dyeing, industrial wastewater treatment, and air-scrubbing sectors to safely transport aggressive acidic/alkaline chemical solutions and highly corrosive industrial effluents.

The modular structural architecture typically consists of a high-strength pump volute (body), a backplate, an optimized impeller dynamic assembly, a specialized shaft seal mechanism, and an integrated flapper-style check valve.

Technical Performance
  • Volumetric Flow Rate: 25 m³/h to 65 m³/h
  • Total Dynamic Head: 5.5 m to 20 m
  • Motor Power Output: 5 HP to 10 HP
  • Industry Industry Aliases: Large-head chemical pump, horizontal dosing pump, acid-alkali resistant self-priming pump, belly-style process pump.
Engineering Details & Metallurgy
  • Premium Fluid End Materials: The pump casing and wetted components are molded from high-grade FRPP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polypropylene) or virgin PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride), providing absolute chemical compatibility against aggressive strong acids, oxidizers, and concentrated alkalis.
  • Thermal Operating Thresholds: - FRPP Configurations: Optimized for solution temperatures up to 65°C.
    - PVDF Configurations: Engineered for high-temperature chemical applications up to 90°C.
  • Advanced Dry-Run Prevention: The pump can be equipped with an innovative self-cooling shaft seal matrix. This closed-loop heat dissipation design utilizes the fluid chamber's residual volume to cool the seal face, effectively preventing thermal cracking and seal failure during unexpected liquid-starvation or waterless dry-running conditions.
