Product Overview

The barrel plating line is a specialized electroplating production system designed for depositing various metal or alloy coatings onto a large volume of small parts within a rotating barrel. This process achieves surface protection, decorative finishes, and various functional objectives through an indirect conductive method while the parts are in a continuous tumbling state. Barrel plating is ideal for small components that, due to their shape or size, are difficult or unsuitable for rack mounting. It is widely applied in plating zinc, copper, nickel, tin, chrome, gold, silver, and various alloys.

Working Principle

The process begins by loading pre-treated small parts into the barrel. Inside, the parts press against the cathode conductive device due to their own gravity, ensuring the stable transmission of the electrical current required for the plating process. As the barrel rotates in a specific direction and speed, the parts continuously tumble and fall. Simultaneously, under the influence of the electrical field, metal ions are reduced and deposited onto the surface of the parts, forming a uniform metal coating.
