Automated Rack Plating Line (Overhead Hoist)
The automated rack plating line (overhead hoist) is the core equipment for automated rack plating processes. It is widely utilized for the surface treatment of metal products, including hardware stampings, fasteners, turned parts, automotive components, and electronic devices. Known for its high degree of automation, rapid production efficiency, stable coating quality, and significant reduction in manual labor intensity, this system has become the mainstream choice for medium-to-large scale electroplating enterprises.
This automated rack plating line is extensively applicable for processing large, medium, and small batches of workpieces in industries such as automotive manufacturing, electronics, electrical appliances, hardware products, aerospace, and medical equipment.
This overhead hoist plating line is composed of several core functional modules designed for seamless operation:

Also referred to as the Gantry Hoist, it serves as the primary transport mechanism for moving racks between tanks.

Tanks are arranged sequentially according to the process flow: Pre-treatment, Electroplating, Post-treatment, and Drying. Tank dimensions are customized based on workpiece specifications, with widths reaching 0.5m–5m and depths ranging from 1m–3m.

Includes the temperature control and agitation systems, electrolyte circulation and filtration systems, and the cathode conduction (electrical) system.

Built with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) at its core, this system establishes an automated electrical management framework to ensure production stability, consistency, and high efficiency.
